A Time for Thanksgiving

November is coming to a close, but this is the time of year to count blessings and I have a lot to be thankful for in my life. I am honored to find myself in a new position this school year as Assistant Principal at Hickory Hills. It has been an adjustment moving to a K-8 building, but the Hickory community is amazing and I am very proud to be part of the Spartan family. We have many wonderful things happening at Hickory which is why I have decided it is time to start blogging again. Thank you for coming along in the journey with me. Happy Reading!

The week before Thanksgiving was very busy for our elementary Spartans! Some of the highlights include the annual first grade pancake feast, second grade Native American artifact museum, and fourth grade PBL unit on economics. I can't wait to learn with all these kiddos in December. Keep up the great work!
