Birds of a Feather

Today I spent time in Mrs. Tree's 5th grade classroom where I encountered excited learners collaborating around the topic of beak types. Students were learning how different beak types are suitable to different environments by "eating" as much food as they could in one minute using their beak type. Henry told his teammates, "I like this PBL because we get to use food and pretend to be a bird. I like using the chopsticks the best."
